Every Miracle Wand comes with some decorating accessories to help you get started, including some washi tape, zip ties, and zip tie mounts. They also ship with 3-foot-long dowels. But if you bought a longer one, read on!
Did you order Miracle Wands, then go buy some dowels, and now you don’t know what to do with the area where the price sticker was? Did it leave a residue? Are you late for a dinner date and don’t have time to paint it?
No worries! Follow along this quick video and there’ll be no need to cut the dowel shorter!

In this video, we’ll show you a quick little something you can do to cover up the area on your dowel where the price sticker was if it leaves a residue and you don’t want to paint it.
Wrap some washi tape in a spiral over the area, leaving some space for a contrasting color. Apply your contrasting color.
You can cut the tape lengthwise or across the dowel. Either way will work.
We’ll stick a stamped gold foil butterfly from the dollar store to a zip tie mount and put it level with the bottom of the tape.
We’ll do the same with this little sign at the top. That’s all there is to it! Miracle Wands work with all types of curtains – grommet, tab top, and rod pocket.
